Modern Slavery & Human Trafficking Policy

Our commitment

Statement

This statement, prepared in accordance with section 54(1) of the Modern Slavery Act 2015, serves as Alumnify's commitment to eradicating slavery and human trafficking from our operations and supply chains.

Our Approach to human trafficking

Aligned with our core values of transparency, respect, and integrity, our anti-slavery policy underscores our unwavering stance against any form of slavery or human trafficking within our organisation and supply networks.

Assessment of our Supply Chains

We have diligently examined our suppliers, encompassing freelancers, consultants, and various entities providing goods and services crucial to achieving our objectives.

Existing Supply Chains

In our risk management framework, we heads have conducted comprehensive risk assessments, identifying where appropriate:

- Supplier/Procurement Code of Conduct: Alumnify requires suppliers to adhere to the highest standards. We have sought information from our suppliers regarding their codes of conduct and the existence of Modern Slavery agreements.

- Recruitment Policy: Our robust recruitment policy includes thorough eligibility checks for all employees to prevent human trafficking and ensure that individuals are not compelled to work against their will.

Future Suppliers

We commit to implementing stringent vetting procedures, tailored to identified risk levels. This ensures prompt identification and mitigation of any slavery-related risks.

Awareness & Training

To develop a deep understanding of modern slavery risks within our supply chains and organisation, we regularly update our staff through communications, stand-up sessions, and both written and verbal reminders of best practices.

This statement, endorsed by Alumnify Co-Founders on 22nd November 2023, signifies our ongoing commitment to combatting modern slavery and human trafficking.
